Billing questions

How is VesselMark billed?

Per module. Sub M / TSMS, Maritime Cyber and the Crew Kit are billed per active vessel; the Shoreside ISMS is billed once for your organization. Choose monthly or annual billing (annual saves 10%). Payments run through Stripe's hosted checkout; we never see your card number. There is no per-user fee.

How does the trial work?

Each organization can start one 7-day trial with full functionality. A card is required to start it and is not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and your card is charged for the first billing period. Cancel any time before the trial ends from the billing page and you pay nothing.

What happens when I add or retire a vessel?

For per-vessel modules the billed quantity follows the number of active vessels in your workspace. Adding a vessel increases it and retiring one decreases it, prorated for the rest of the current billing period. The shoreside office is not counted as a vessel.

Can I add or remove modules later?

Yes, from the billing page. A module you add is prorated for the rest of the billing period. A module you remove stays until the end of the period you have paid for.

Is Crew Kit included with Maritime Cyber?

Yes. If you have Maritime Cyber, the Crew Kit comes with it and is not billed separately. The Crew Kit can also be bought on its own.

How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?

Cancel any time from the billing page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid for, then the workspace becomes read-only: your data stays intact and you can still read and export it. Data is retained as described in our Terms. Evidence files are held in write-once storage under a one-year retention lock, so they cannot be deleted by anyone, including us, until that lock expires.
